The links provided for test data sets include all the parsec applications and their data sets. Following the instructions requires hours of downloading and unpacking stuff which isn't applicable to this contest.

Tim, unfortunately we can only provide a link to the parsec benchmark suite as we are not able to redistribute and re-package a specific application from the suite.
Also, using the latest upgraded Microsoft IE or any other browser such as Firefox should ensure proper downloads. In addition, we haven't experienced such slow download times, but we will do some further investigation, appreciate much.

The "native" download requires only the BodyTrack subdirectory to be selected for unpacking. Firefox is able to retry upon demand after failed downloads.
A successful download of that 2GB file takes close to 2 hours on a standard video/internet residential connection here in California. Longer at the office.
Thanks

Hi Tim,
We just retested in our office environment and it took a few minutes (~3 minutes) for the core files. The native input files took a little over an hour. Since we cannot redistribute the files separately we will have to continue to download the entire native input files. At IDF of course, all of the input files will be on the system ready for use. Thanks for the feedback nevertheless, and I'll update you if anything else changes with respect to this issue.

Hi Tim, (Probably you already know)
For all problems download big size > 2Go or several halted the better choice is
to mount mount Windows Cifs Samba repertory linux and you using aria2 for download
as multiple chanel (can be reduce 30% time or greater) (with system (file core) halt occurs no
problem and file is restarted where halted ).
Warning:
When aria2 is started very large part of resource machine is busy also similar
with very big machine.
Kind regards
