Project conversion to version 9 changes RTTI

I just installed Windows Compiler version 9, which does some project conversions the first time you open a project, and it changed my RTTI settings from enable to disable. Setting them back triggered rather annoying massive rebuilds. Is there some way to avoid this on the projects I haven't converted yet?
