Removing older service packs?

Hi all,

I don't know that this is the right place to ask this question, but I don't see a better place. Can I remove older service packs of Composer XE by just removing the directory (for example, /opt/intel/composer_xe_2013_sp1.1.106 for 14.0.1)? I'm running out of space for all of these compiler versions.

Thanks!

The intended method is by executing (as root) the uninstall script located in that directory (working from outside the directory).  That will clean out rpmdb entries as well as freeing up space.

Great, thanks! Didn't look in there -- I somewhat assumed it would be in the directory one level up.

I somewhat assumed it would be in the directory one level up.

>> As there are multiple products which may be installed to /opt/intel by default, so, the uninstall.sh cannot be put in this level. Also, even multiple compiler may exists together, each version will have its own uninstall script. :)

Thanks,
