Hi,

I installed the Intel C++ compiler via the Intel Parallel Studio. However I only need the compiler and not all of the additional stuff. Is there a way to just download the compiler because for my test environment I can not afford the time to send such a huge file to the target PC.

I already tried the packages at the following  location:

https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/redistributable-libraries-for-the-intelr-c-and-visual-fortran-compiler-professional-editions-for-linux

but I can not unzip them unfortunately.

many thanks in advance

Hi Phillip,
To do so, you can go to the https://registrationcenter.intel.com/  and after you've registered the product you should see that product listed under Products page. Click on the product and it'll take to another page with the Download button next to it. Clicking download button provides you two options to download: Online installer and offline installer downloads.  Selecting Online install method allows you to download only the components you need which is what you want.  Of course, you'll need an internet connection so when you execute the installer script it'll download only the components you have selected during installation.
