Unable to install C++ 10.0.26

I uninstalled my Intel C++ Compiler 9.1.37 (compiler, debugger, integration, em64t). When I tried to install 10.0.26 (w_cc_c_10.0.026.exe), I got an error message "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have appropriate permission to access the item". I could not even reinstall the previous version 9.1.37. I got the same error message. I just could not install anything from Intel. I do have administrator's right. However, I had no problem to install software from other vendors. Here is my platform:

Windows server 2003 x64
MS VS 2005 standard

This problem is solved by copying the downloaded installer (*.exe) to a USB flash drive and installing it from the USB drive, thanks to Intel Premier Support.
