I'm interested in using the Intel C++ compilers with the (upcoming) Microsoft Visual Studio 2010. VS 2010 is currently in beta with an announced release of April 12, 2010. I'm specifically interested in using the improved parallel debugging capabilities of VS 2010.
I downloaded both the trial version of the Intel C++ compiler (version 11.1) and the beta of Visual Studio 2010. Unfortunately, the installer for version 11.1 of the Intel C++ compiler does not recognize 2010 as an installation of Visual Studio. (The installer reports that no versions of Visual Studio are installed.) I hope this is the correct forum to ask these questions, but:
1) Will there be a version of the Intel C++ compiler that supports integration with Visual Studio 2010 when it is released?
2) Is there a pre-release evaluation version that supports 2010 that I may have missed in my searches?
Thanks.

Hello,
Our current 11.1 Intel C++ Compiler Professional Edition for Windows or the current Intel Parallel Composer does NOT support the Visual Studio 2010.
The next major release will support Visual Studio 2010. As about when will the next major release available, please wait for our announcement on this Forum and email notification from Intel Premier Support if you've subscribed. Or you can also check the Intel Software Product page.
Thanks for your interesting.

another 3 months have passed and finally Visual Studio 2010 has materialized and is installed on a plenty of PCs. Are there any news on Visual Studio 10 support with Intel C++ Compiler?
Is there a roadmap for 12.0?
Please give us a little insight, if it's worth waiting any longer.
Best regards
Axel
