Hi John,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

The new Intel C/C++ compilers are available in OneAPI BaseToolkit and HPC toolkit. The next-gen compilers are available on basekit and for the classic compilers, the HPC toolkit must be installed.

Windows:

To use Intel Compilers on windows you need to have Visual Studio IDE installed in your system.

The OneAPI toolkits will be automatically integrated into Visual Studio while installing.

Refer to this link on how to build and run a sample project using Visual Studio:

Build and Run a Sample Project Using Visual Studio* (intel.com).

Linux:

On Linux Eclipse and Visual Studio Code are the recommended IDE's for OneAPI toolkits.

Refer to these documents on how to build and run using Eclipse(Build and Run a Sample Project Using Eclipse* (intel.com)) and Visual Studio Code(Build and Run a Sample Project Using Visual Studio Code (intel.com)).

Let us know if you need any other information.

Prasanth
