Windows 2000 compatibility

Is code compiled with Intel compiler 10.x compatible with Windows 2000 ? We have a customer base running both Windows 2000 and Windows XP as platforms for our software. Anyone running Intel compiled code on Windows 2000 ?

While there is no longer any regular testing or support of Windows 2000 (and its use is not permitted on Intel networks), it should work at least as well as XP, except for one issue:
Windows 2000 idle process consumes significant CPU resources, and usually reduces performance significantly when HyperThreading is enabled.
