Windows 7* OS is now supported by 11.1.048 update

From the 11.1.048 of Intel C++ Compiler Professional Edition for Windows the Windows 7 is supported. The package id is w_cproc_p_11.1.048.

You can download this update from Intel Registration Center or from our eval center.

We were sent a notice that this update is needed only when using the Intel64/X64 compiler on 32-bit Windows 7, or 32-bit ia32 compiler on Windows 7 X64. Otherwise, it would be identical to 11.1.046.

Actually the 32-bit compiler is good too.

A big difference is that the 11.1.048 is fully validated on Windows 7.
