can't post to forum

I've tried about six times now to post a message on this forum - and my posts just vanish - whats up?

It would appear that when I paste a copy of a compiler message the post just vanishes.

Any idea why?

I can see this posting fine.

do you mean you're trying to paste some code and code disappeared?

When pasting code, the code with "".

I find that trying to include a copy of an error message generated by the compiler and the code that causes it, makes the posts to vanish.

Including...

1>\suite\programs\nex2\imaginfo.h(33): error: DestructElements is not a template

works

but adding the next line from the compiler output causes the post to vanish

Looks like a bad return from ping.chartbeat.net

Quoting it maks no difference.

My response got cut off when trying to use '<' & '>'.

But those characters will only affect the final text, it should not cause the whole posting vanish.

could you attach thescreen-capture of the compiler output to this thread? so we can find out what might be causing the issue.

Thank you very much,
Jennifer
