free Intel compiler for students and teachers

Hi all!

I'm student Ukrainian Dnepropetrovsk National University and i studying C++. My IDE uses gcc compiler, because it is free, but my teacher told me that Intel provide free version Intel compiler for students developers. How I can obtain this free version Intel compiler?

You could look also the academic licenses (not free, but not expensive).

Thanks a lot! But there is software for Linux systems. How about Mac Os?

No non-commericial license is available for MacOS or Windows. There should be academic license and 30-day trial options.

Unfortunally, I'm lost license file for downloaded Intel compilerl_ccompxe_2011.7.256.

Do I need download new copy of the compiler with license file or I can retreive just one license file and where it is?

If you registered your license, you should be able to recover it at https:/registrationcenter.intel.com. Help on such issues is available on the licensing forum.
When you install a compiler, a copy of the license is placed in a standard location relative to the compiler (default /opt/intel/licenses/).
