Hi, I'm installing the Intel C++ Compiler version 10 on Fedora 7. There is
libstdc++.so.6 in /usr/lib, but the compilers requires libstdc++.so.5,
and the installation failed. What can I do to solve the issue? Thanks.

You could copy that library e.g. from an FC6 distro, or try creating a symlink or copy to make the library you have appear with the older name. FC7 wouldn't be supported for a while. If you want to try for a more authoritative reply, post an inquiry on your premier.intel.com account.
