Alternative stack for signaling?

Hello,

We understand that Intel CS for WebRTC uses Socket.IO for signaling. Can we use any other stack for signaling in place of Socket.IO? If so, could you please recommend any other best stacks?

Thank you.

Best Regards,
Chandramouli.

Hi Chandramouli,

We do not have plan to provide customization of signaling on MCU. Thanks!

Hello Aswin,

Thanks for your detailed reply. But, what I am curious to know is about the usage of SIP stacks like PJSIP, Sofia, BareSIP, reSIProcate, etc. Can we use any of these?

Thank you.

Best Regards,
Chandramouli.

Hi Chandramouli,

P2P signaling channel could be replace with your own implementation to communicate with your signaling server.

Hello Jianjun,

Thank you for your reply. I am asking about the replacement of Socket.IO in MCU with any other signaling stack. Is there any possibility? If so, please share your recommendations.

Best Regards,
Chandramouli.
