Hello sonjaya:

Thank you very much for providing those pictures.

There is a newer BIOS version available, it is version 0034, pleased try to install it.

Instructions to do the BIOS update using the F7 method:

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/desktop-boards/000005724.html http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/desktop-boards/000005724.html

This is the .BIO file needed to do it:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26502/BIOS-Update-FCBYT10H-86A-?product=86612 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26502/BIOS-Update-FCBYT10H-86A-?product=86612

Also, which Windows version are you trying to install?

Remember that the stick is compatible with certain Windows versions, not with all of them:

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/intel-compute-stick/000005899.html http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/intel-compute-stick/000005899.html

Are you using a USB flash drive?

If that is the case do you have the option to use a different one?

Also, most of the customers were able to successfully install Windows creating the USB bootable device from the following site:

https://rufus.akeo.ie/ https://rufus.akeo.ie/

Please let me know the results of trying the steps above.

Any questions, please let me know.

Regards

Alberto

Hello sonjaya:

Thank you very much for letting us know that information.

In that case, at this point it is hard to tell if the problem is the compute stick or if it is related to the USB flash drive.

The best thing to do will be to test the compute stick with different USB flash drive in order to isolate the issue.

Remember that the warranty Intel provides for the stick is for 1 year, so, if you purchased the compute stick more than a year ago, then yes, the next option will be to purchase a new one.

Any further questions, please let me know.

Regards

Hello Alberto ,

My case is the Intel Computer Stick bios / UEFI can't detect internal storage in build in , so the Intel Computer Stick can't boot event i try reinstall can't find storage .

I have been try with usb flash drive with bios.bio file can read and upgrade Bios was success .

So the main problem is the bios can't detect internal storage for loading OS .

for warranty i was buy at 22 dec 2015 and sucess upgrade to win 10 after 3 month the problem is come . after 1 year the intel computer stick problem , it is only for working 1 year only ? very very dispointed if only a year working , so i will black list from company list device and not recomended to investment .

Hello sonjaya:

Let me apologize for any type of inconvenience you might have experienced with the compute stick.

In regard to your inquiry, the stick was design to work for more than a year, the warranty on it is the one that is for a year with Intel.

One question, if the stick was working fine before and it was booting to Windows, did you change anything on the BIOS or there was a setting that you disable or enable or something g that you change on it that now is not working?

I can see that there is an option on the BIOS that says: "select operating system", and in there you can choose Windows® 8.1 or Windows® 10 32-bit, what happens if you choose that option an select any of those operating systems?

Any questions, please let me know.

Hello sonjaya:

Thank you very much for sharing the details above.

You mentioned that you see in the BIOS under Boot driver Order: UEFI: Hard Drive: Part 0 : OS Boot loader

Do you have the chance to select that option? That should work to load Windows on the stick.

If you choose that option, is then when you get the error message: "A bootable device has not been detected" ?

Based on the fact that you tried basically all the troubleshoot steps we recommend, if after choosing the option you mentioned above the problem persists, then the next thing to do will be to replace it.

Even though the stick is out of warranty, at this point I will suggest to get in contact with Intel support for Indonesia, just to check if maybe they can offer you a different alternative in regard to the warranty on the stick.

Please look for the Intel's phone number for Indonesia support on the following link:

Any further questions, please let me know.
