The latest ipad pros support tethering devices over usb-c with its gigabit ethernet controller. I am looking for a small windows 10 pc that I can plug into the usb-c that is capable of using the gigabit ethernet over usb-c. I also want it to be able to charge the iPad Pro if the pc is plugged in. I want to use the gigabit tether to use the pc with Remote Desktop on the ipad. I have a lot of old usb gear and still come across windows-only things and will need something like this for many years to come.

The compute stick does not have USB-C. It only looks like USB-C.

Al is correct; none of the Compute Stick models have USB-C.

You should look at the Intel NUC; there are quite a few models that have USB-C ports. You wouldn't need USB-C for Ethernet support, however, as gigabit Ethernet support is built into all NUC models.
