Compute Stick read/ write maximum speed for an SD card

None of the technical specifications i have found list the maximum read / write speed for an SD card in the SDXC card port. Limits it to 128Gb (is this still the limit?)

SDXC lists some real fast speeds, so whats the maximum for the Compute Stick?

  1. The 128GB(yte) (rather than 128Gb(it)) limit it is not speed limit. It is size limit (i.e. the larges card size accepted by Copmute Stick.
  2. The Compute Stick is equipped with Micro SD card slot (SDXC v3.0 with UHS-I support). The UHS-I has speed limit of 50 MB/s. Of course, proper SDXC card should be used.

To clarify

:

There are 2 questions, here, however you are listing UHS-I support, no where in Intel's Technical Specifications can i find this documented, hence the reasons for both questions.

  • Read / Write speed
  • Maximum capacity confirmation.

  1. STK1AW32SC Technical Product Specification https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/boardsandkits/computestick/STK1AW32SC_STK1... , page 8, Table 2, Storage, for SDXC v3.0 with UHS-I support. Page 19, para. 2.2.3 for maximum capacity.
  2. STK2M3W64CC Technical Product Specification https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/boardsandkits/computestick/STK2m3W64CC_STK... , page 8, Table 2, Storage, for SDXC v3.0 with UHS-I support. Page 23, para. 2.2.2 for maximum capacity.

Hope this helps
