My company recently purchased the compute stick to run powerpoint presentations.
The compute stick is connected to a monitor via the usb cable, and plugged directly into the wall via the power adapter.
The connections are VERY loose, and the pc had a bad habit of turning itself off if knocked even slightly.
Suddenly it started turning itself off even when not touched and now won't stay powered on long enough to even log in.
I know the product is very cheap, and I don't have very high expectations, but simply staying powered on shouldn't be too much to ask should it?

Please try the following:
Update the Intel® Compute Stick BIOS; please download the latest BIOS version for this unit at:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25269/BIOS-Update-FCBYT10H-86A- https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25269/BIOS-Update-FCBYT10H-86A-
In this case I recommend doing a BIOS recovery and you can follow the steps at:

After that is done, try to reset your system and follow the steps at:
