I'm using a compute card (CD1P64GK) in a dock (DK132EPJR) running Ubuntu 16.04.1. I'm trying to connet over ethernet to another machine however when I set the ip address to the local subnet it knocks out the wifi connection. This alone isn't a dealbreaker, however when I try to ping other machines connected it just comes back with "destination host unreachable". ifconfig shows that there is no ethernet port only the wlan wlp3s0. is the ethernet on the back of the dock only usable for internet connection routed through a virtual wlan port on the card or something?

Thank you very much for contacting the Intel® Communities Team.
I understand you are having some problems with the Ethernet port of your https://ark.intel.com/products/125421/Intel-Compute-Card-Dock-DK132EPJ?q=DK132EPJR Intel® Compute Card Dock DK132EPJ using an https://ark.intel.com/products/121218/Intel-Compute-Card-CD1P64GK?q=CD1P64GK Intel® Compute Card CD1P64GK. I will be more than glad to assist you further.
In this case, for me to perform a deeper research regarding your issue, I would like to know what is the BIOS version installed on your Compute Card. Additionally, is this a pre-production model?
