Hi!
I'm doing a project in my engineering school for a self-driving drone and the objective is to use an NCS 2 to recognize a cube that the drone has to catch. I'm just in the beginning and the first thing that I want to do is the recognition of the cube with a Pi camera connected to a Pi Zero 2 W. If anyone knows a project that made something similar or an example that I could modify it would help me a lot.
Thanks in advance.

Hi joamanfroi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
For your information, Intel® Neural Compute Stick 2 (NCS2) can be used with OpenVINO™ Toolkit on Raspberry Pi. Do note that the validated hardware for OpenVINO is Raspberry Pi 3, as mentioned in the Install OpenVINO™ toolkit for Raspbian OS.
You can refer to this Object Detection Python Demo from Open Model Zoo Demos in creating your project for object detection.
Additionally, here are few examples for object detection that you can refer for your project (These are external links and are not maintained by Intel):
- Real-time Object Detection with Raspberry Pi and Intel NCS 2
- OpenVINO, OpenCV, and Movidius NCS on the Raspberry Pi
- Real-time object detection with deep learning and OpenCV

Hi joamanfroi,
This thread will no longer be monitored since we have provided a solution. If you need any additional information from Intel, please submit a new question.
