The brick does not fit behind the display and the TV's USB port [USB 2.0] does not supply enough power to turn on the stick. Is there a setting to make the stick use less power? It is unfortunate how poorly the power brick/supply was designed. More effort could have went into making it low profile at least. It doesn't make sense to have a power supply larger than the compute stick itself.
Some people love it and some people hate it. With a Core m3-class processor, it simply requires more power than a USB port - or even two USB ports - can provide. Have you been able to find a similarly-powered unit with lower requirements or a smaller supply? I think not.
It is what it is...
