New STK1A32SC: menu appears after 0-3+ min, disappears after 1 sec

New STK1A32SC (no O/S): after power on, takes a few sec to 3 minutes or more for F2/7/8 menu to appear, menu disappears after 1 second. Anyone else seeing this?

That makes it pretty hard to get into the BIOS. I did get in, only change was to 64 bit. After hours of rebooting and fiddling, managed to update BIOS from 23 to 29, but that made no difference.

I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience with the Intel® Compute stick.

 

It seems to be a BIOS issue. I would recommend contacting your place of purchase or call our warranty center at http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/contact-support.html Intel Customer Support for warranty options.
