Problem with OpenVINO 2021.1 and Neural Compute Stick 2

I get the following error when trying to the official Intel demo for OpenVINO 2021.1 and the Intel Neural Compute Stick 2:

https://docs.openvinotoolkit.org/2021.1/openvino_docs_install_guides_installing_openvino_linux.html#...
For MYRIAD

dh@ubuntu:~$ cd ~/inference_engine_samples_build/intel64/Release
dh@ubuntu:~/inference_engine_samples_build/intel64/Release$ ./classification_sample_async -i /opt/intel/openvino_2021/deployment_tools/demo/car.png -m ~/openvino_models/ir/public/squeezenet1.1/FP16/squeezenet1.1.xml -d MYRIAD
./classification_sample_async: Symbol `_ZTVN15InferenceEngine9ExtensionE' has different size in shared object, consider re-linking
./classification_sample_async: symbol lookup error: ./classification_sample_async: undefined symbol: _ZN15InferenceEngine7details18SharedObjectLoaderC1EPKc

Any Ideas?  Thanks.

Hi Dougworld,

Thanks for reaching out.

Which Ubuntu version you are using? Please be noted that the system requirement for the operating system should be Ubuntu 18.04.x long-term support (LTS), 64-bit.

Also, please ensure you carefully followed all the additional installation steps from the OpenVINO website.

https://docs.openvinotoolkit.org/2021.1/openvino_docs_install_guides_installing_openvino_linux.html#...

Especially setting the environment variable: source /opt/intel/openvino/bin/setupvars.sh

Make sure you set the OpenVINO environment variables before you run the demo. Plus, if you have any other version of OpenVINO installed on your machine, please make sure you are setting the OpenVINO environment according to the version carefully. It is important

to set the correct environment variables exactly for the 2021.1 build.

Regards,

Aznie
