Hi Intel Comunity,
For Intel Compute Stick STCK1A32WFC:
It's impossible to open any BIOS file (FCXXXX.bio) with the latest ITK 5.0.4.575.
But for Intel Compute Stick STK1AW32SC:
It's possible to open any BIOS file (SCXXXX.bio) with the latest ITK 5.0.4.575.
Why?
And how can I open my BIOS File FCXXXX.bio?
Which is the best Intel Software?
Thank you very much,
Best Regards,
Manuel

If you look at the supported products for ITK, Compute Stick is not listed. ITK is only for older Desktop motherboards and most NUC products.

Dear MrMitch,
Thanks for the answer.
But it's possible to open the BIOS files SCXXXX.bio of Intel Compute Stick STK1AW32SC which are more recentt than the STCK1A32WFC.
Also, yet it's not available BIOS files for STK2MV64CC to try open with ITK.
Anyone from Intel can help me?
Thank you very much,
Best Regards
Manuel

You may be able to open a BIO file in ITK but Intel does not support Compute Stick at all in ITK. These use a different type of BIOS core then the NUC. Also, ITK is no longer being updated so I don't know what it may do to a BIO file on newer products since it's last update.

Thanks again MrMitch,
The newer STK1AW32SC is a Compute Stick and it is possible to open with ITK. But the older Compute Stick STCK1A32WFC it's not possible!
Have you try it? it works fine with the new Compute Stick STK1AW32SC bios file SC0019.bio for example.

Manuel

Hi EstebanC_Intel,
Thank you for the answer.
However, that's no completed true...because you can open the BIOS file SC0019.bio for the Intel Compute Stick STK1AW32SC.
Now, how can I open the FC0031.bio?
Thank you very much for the help,
Best Regards,
Manuel

Manuel,
You are either not listening or just not understanding what you are being told. I can't make it any clearer: The .BIO files for Intel Compute Sticks (ICS) are not supported by Intel Integrator Toolkit (ITK).
- The fact that you were able to open even one of these .BIO files was pure luck.
- It is not guaranteed that you will be able to open subsequent releases of this same .BIO file.
- It is not guaranteed that any changes you make to a .BIO file will actually be applied when this .BIO file is installed.
- It is entirely possible that attempting to install an ITK-modified .BIO file could corrupt your BIOS, possibly permanently bricking it.
Bottom line, do not use this tool on Intel Compute Stick .BIO files. Answering your last question, there is no valid way to open the FC, SC or CC .BIO files.
