Compute stick seems to have lost its display output; I have tried different display monitors with no success. Compute stick blue "on" light is on and steady. Any assistance prior to returning for replacement is welcome!! Purchased 9th June 2016, from a Melbourne based shop front and online retailer. Thank you - Tim.
I've just read other posts regarding sticks failing to boot - this could be the issue here - I don't know. No display, so I can't see what is happening...

For cases with no display output, Intel recommends BIOS recovery.
Please see instructions for http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/intel-compute-stick/000005902.html BIOS Recovery Instructions for Intel® Compute Stick
Download and save the https://downloadcenter.intel.com/downloads/eula/26536/BIOS-Update-SCCHTAX5-86A-?httpDown=https://dow... BIOS update (.BIO) file to a portable USB device.
Please let me know your findings.
Thank you Allan;
No luck. I have done the BIOS download to a USB stick etc as instructed, to no avail. The compute stick is sensing the USB is there as the USB stick light is on, but not flashing as it normally would if it was being read / accessed.
I have tried many times to get the unit to power on with the three second or thereabouts press of the power button....
BTW, failure first noted just before Christmas, when the machine had locked up on the windows pre-login screen. (but has not been investigated due to work commitments until now)
Unsure of what to try next.
