STK1AW32SC STK1A32SC Can i power the compute stick use the USB 3 type A port or do i have to use the USB power port? Will the USB power port also act as a USB hub? Many Thanks

These answers are specific to the STK1AW32SC Compute Stick; they do not apply to later Compute Stick models.

 

No, you cannot power this stick via the USB 3.0 connector; you must always use the power connector. While this power connector looks like a micro-USB connector, it is NOT - so no, it will not act as a USB Hub.
