I have recently purchased the intel compute stick (STCK1A32WFC) with windows 8.1 pre-installed.
I decided to use the windows 10 upgrade option offered by Microsoft. I followed the Windows 10 upgrade guide posted here (/servlet/JiveServlet/downloadBody/25142-102-2-30009/Windows10-upgrade-instructions-v2.pdf https://communities.intel.com/servlet/JiveServlet/downloadBody/25142-102-2-30009/Windows10-upgrade-i...)
Unfortunately the installation was stuck at the post install phase (There was a "We ll' be ready soon message" for more than 10 hours).
Now windows 10 freezes just after login and I have no way to roll back to windows 8.1, since I can not use my computer at all.
I also tried to boot into safe mode, but the update and recovery tool do not run in safe mode (or at least I can not find it myself).
Please try the following:
Update the Intel® Compute Stick BIOS; please download the latest BIOS version for this unit at:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/86612/Intel-Compute-Stick-STCK1A32WFC Downloads for Intel® Compute Stick STCK1A32WFC
In this case I recommend doing a BIOS recovery and you can follow the steps at:
http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/CS-035445.htm Intel® Compute Stick — BIOS Recovery Instructions
After that is done, try to reset your system and follow the steps at:

If these troubleshooting steps work for you try upgrading to Windows 10 again, please follow the steps to upgrade to Windows 10 at:
