My m3 compute stick has been freezing since the latest Windows 10 updates and I'm fed up with this botched up Windows 10 os.
I tried installing Windows 7 with a modified version with usb 3 drivers and other additions. Installation boots up from a usb drive and installation finishes BUT then gives me a blue screen error when booting indicating that the bios is not acpi compliant.
I've also noticed that drivers are available for Windows 7... Graphics, audio, chipset aNd usb 3.
Is it possible or am I doing something incorrectly?

It's a 6th gen processor, so, in theory, not precluded from running Windows 7. The NUC team is only providing drivers for Windows 8.1 and 10, however.
