I am just bought my first intel stick It is a STK2M364CC. I working on building a motorcycle touch screen computer. Basicly it will run android x86 and have an app that will run apple car play. I have everything up and running.
But running into an issue. I am using a 5" touch screen resolution is 800X480. If i have stick plugged in to the screen it wont post.
If i pull it out and restart it. It will post then i can plug it in and will see the intel screen. It will boot fine.
Seems something to do with bios detecting the screen.
Any thoughts?
It post fine when in my tv. I think it has to do with screen resolution

Likely the resolution. The Stick will want a minimum of 1024x768.

You might want to try a different HDMI cable, I have some cables that will hang the grub bootloader when running Ubuntu. I also saw mention of this online. I have one cable with ferrite cores that works better than my non-ferrite cables, it works most of the time but it will still hang every once in a while. I don't know if this would apply to android x86 but it might if it uses grub.
EDIT: I just read your post again and it sounds like you may be plugging the Compute Stick directly into the screen without a cable. I guess you could try inserting a cable to see if that helps also.
