AMT KVM not working on DQ87PG

I am not successful by trying to connect to a computer with a DQ87PG Desktop board (AMT/vPro KVM).

Here are some details:

  • Tried KVMControlApplication V9.5.0.7864 via default port and another VNC viewer (UltraVNC) via port 5900
  • Server and client are in the same LAN, same subnet
  • Enabled Management Interfaces: Web UI, KVM

RFB password set

  • I can reach the WebUI via port 16992, but KVM does not work: no connection
  • In the past, some weeks ago, I got it working, but now after some HW/SW changes and a BIOS update, I can't get any KVM connection.

What troubleshooting can I do to identify the problem here?

Here's some system info:

Found a workaround: I am now using RealVNC Viewer, this one works.

One problem seemed to be that standard port 5900 was disabled. Consequently, connections with UltraVNC in the scheme of [IP-Adress]:5900 could not work.

Found a good guide here, with a remark on the remote control ports:
