BIOS Update

I want to update my board DQ77CP to the latest BIOS

The F& method does nothing but freeze the syatem when i press F& on boot.

IFlash doesn't work.

Is there a way to upgrade from the intel website (like the driver updates) ?

Can anyone give me the link to the iso image to update from a cd ?

The only bios file for your board is 0074 and is located here:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28297?product=59045

"F&" does nothing, but "F7" does.

No, you cannot update "like driver updates".

You can follow the instructions here to update your bios.

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005547/boards-and-kits/desktop-boards.ht...

And, if all else fails, you can do a recovery bios:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005630/boards-and-kits.html

Your board is no longer supported. If windows 10 is your OS, it is not supported on your board.

Question - What is the reason for updating the bios at this time?

Sorry. F& is a typo I meant F7 and no it doesn't work it just freezes the whole thing

If it's not supported at all i'll just leave it and buy a decent make of board

The PS/2 mouse doesn't work that's why i was trying to update.

Thanks for your help.

This is the 2nd time in a month I have heard about PS/2 problems. Maybe there is some component failure occurring with these older boards.

Anyway, getting current board/processor/memory/fan and even a power supply is an undertaking, but is worth it for performance and support.
