Bios 0054 for DQ77MK not Updating

Bios 00054 for DQ77MK motherboard released on 26th of November is not updating the Specific Motherboard.

I used both recovery bios file (.bio extension) and WinPE64 with no luck. The motherboard stays at previous bios which in my case is version 0053.

You will not get any Bios Update Progress upon restart but you are only getting 2 restarts with no bios updating screen showed up at all. You are getting the message confirmation that your Bios updated successfully once you are log-in into Windows but it is a false message.

Yes, I'm having the same problem. Tried both: F7 (.bio) and from Windows 7....

I cannot upgrade the bios at all......Still on 0053.

I am checking the Bios the last 3 days and i constantly getting repeated messages in the Event Log that Flash update failed (21-times) even if i didn't execute the bios update more than 3 times the last 3 days. Something is wrong with the last update and it is trying to update itself?????

I don't know what to do..... to stop this...

Any ideas from Intel?

I just managed to update to Bios 0054 by using the recovery method. The Drawback of this method is that 1st you have to open your case and remove the Bios configuration jumper and the 2nd after the completion of the update your Intel ME needs setup again.

That it for now.

Any other solution Intel? Your bios update methods just do not work as they should...

Recovery method is not the best method I guess...What's about others? Why they don't work?

try to remove you bios jumper then get a flash disk put the 0097 bios on your flash disk then make sure that there is no other file on your flash disk. Boot your PC, then wait until the BIOS update finish and then that's it.
