Black Configuration tab in Bio

Tech friends help me out here:

I currently have a Intel DP67BG motherboard. For some reason during the boot sequence my video goes out. Computer powers on, I can see the bios Splash screen, Display goes black, Comes back on when windows launches.

This happens for both a VGA and HDMI connection. I have tried to go into my bios screen and anytime I try to access the configuration tab in my bios, The screen goes Black. How can this be fixed?

Hi JakeBowden,

Thanks for the information. Based on this report there are some troubleshooting steps I want you to try:

  1. Disconnect the Video card you have on you system.
  2. Uninstall the driver you currently have installed for the Intel® HD Graphics. Here are some instructions:

http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-034574.htm http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-034574.htm

  1. Download the latest driver at the following link:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=3319&DwnldID=23376 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=3319&DwnldID=23376

  1. Update the BIOS to the latest. Here is the download link:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=21687 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=21687

Besides these steps, It is important to say that when using adapters/convertors the signal can be affected so we strongly recommend to use a direct connection between the monitor and the motherboard.
