Hi Guys Does anyone know if the DG41KR desktop board will support booting to an Iomega external HDD connected via a USB or SATA card ? This is for use with Iomega's Never down software for system backups and restores. Thanks for any replies jason

Hi!

I confirm the Intel(R) Desktop Board DG41KR does allow booting from USB drives, regardless of the manufacturer of the device; see page 67 of the Technical Product Specification:

I do recommend ensuring both, "Boot USB Devices First" and "USB Boot", are "enabled" in BIOS, under the "Boot" menu.

As for booting up from SATA card, that'd depend on the either PCI or PCIe* card itself.
