I am currently using an Intel DP35DPM board and P35 express chipset. However, since converting to Windows 10 I cannot receive updates. Is there an update to the bios that I should have if so how do I get access to it?

Updating the bios will not make a difference. Your board and chipset are not supported on Windows 10. Your best option is to invest in a new desktop.
