Can't update BIOS DH61BE - Where to download older versions?

Hi,

Only the latest bios is available for download for this board. How am I supposed to update from an older bios? I'm on 32 and need to get to 48 before I go to 120. Using the latest bios just gets me a "Legacy BIOS unsupported" message. Why aren't any other BIOS downloads available? Can anyone help? This bios is so old I can't use a 3rd gen chip.

All of the bios files can be found, or at lease used to be found, here.

Where they are now, I cannot say. Perhaps @n.scott.pearson  can help.

I found the bios finally hosted elsewhere. I followed the intel guide which didn't work.

BIOS 0048 Flash - All good

BIOS 0099 Flash - Flash went okay, no sata boot

Then I flashed directly to 0120 and it failed

At that point I only got a logo. I tried recovery jumper multiple times but only get a black screen and fan spin.

I then tried switching the jumper to 1 and 2 and managed to get into the bios. It says I'm on 0099 and Intel Management engine is 0.0.0.0

I set it to automatically prompt me to go into the bios. Switching back to regular jumper, I now have access to the bios and even flash. If I try to flash the 0099 bios it freezes. I tried 0109 and it started flashing and then failed at Intel Management Engine. I'm trying another USB stick

It looks like they pulled down the links for the other BIOS versions. I will ping them and see what's going on. At the very least, you need BIOS 48, 99 and 120.

As above, I tried that combination and now have a brick :(. Will try some more USB sticks but not liking my chances. Doing a long format with Fat32 and default allocation size in Win 10. Should I be trying to recover with 99 or 48?

Did you use the BIOS Recovery method? You should have for the BIOS 48 and BIOS 99 installs. If BIOS Recovery will even work, I would try recovering to 99 and then 120.

No I used F7 for all of them. BIOS recovery has never worked even with before I flashed anything. The PC turns on and posts. Keyboard and mouse lit up but nothing on screen.

See my notes on things to do to get BIOS Recovery to work in this conversation: https://forums.intel.com/s/question/0D50P0000490FZOSA2/pb-bios-0099-carte-mre-dh61ww.
