Can the Intel Management Engine software be uninstalled and reinstalled?

Can the Intel Management Engine software be uninstalled and reinstalled? I observed an older ME driver for last September on ASUS's website that ASUS suggests the previous Intel ME driver be uninstalled. I do not recall uininstalling the previous driver and the pc is using the latest Intel ME driver from ASUS.  Is this a potential future issue?  Should I uninstall and reinstall the latest ME driver or should I do nothing?

You can uninstall Intel Management Engine Components from Windows 10 Setting>Applications. Still, you don't need to do this in order to install the newer version.
