D2500CC doesn't recognise SSD

My recently bought D2500CC board doesn't recognise my new Kingston SSDNow S200. I've made sure the SSD is working, by testing it on multiple computers; The problem is neither with the cables, they have been tested with another HD.

What's strange is that another 'normal' HD does work on my D2500CC (WD5000ABYS).

I'm running the latest BIOS version (0039), and tried IDE/AHCI.

Why can't my D2500CC see my Kingston?

Hello, Pettenstein, as a helpful note, we have seen within the time compatibility problems between our products and 3rd party hardware. Sometimes because of the technologies involved or manufacturing design. Being said this, it is important to consider that eventually this could be a compatibility issue.

The following link will show you the list of tested components on this motherboard. http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/d2500cc/sb/CS-033940.htm http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/d2500cc/sb/CS-033940.htm
