I tried the Bios update on two devices from version 36 with TY0041.BIO and with TYBYT10H.86A.0041.EB.EXE. After verify when it starts flushing the process fails.
Klaus, you may want to try updating to version 37 first, and then to 39 or 41.

Hello, thanks. I tried to flush 37 out from an running System: reboot - F7 - prepare - fail. Then I tried the same with an power off cycle the same.
Then I took an other device an connected just Keyboard, VGA an the stick with the BIOS and again:boot F7 Version 37,39,41 and all fine.
Then I tried direct 41 with four other devices, all OK
At the end I removed the first device from HDMI, USB cable hub with mouse, keyboard and touchscreen, connected just VGA and mouse and then also 41 OK
I do not understand why, but it works :
So do you mean we're supposed to upgrade all versions ... I think I broke DE3815TYKE while updating from 0ACCT011 to 0ACCT014 Do you know where all versions (and codenames) are listed ? this is so confusing to me

I tested about 20 units of this device and all work fine. Just connect a monitor, keyboard, mouse and a USB with the newest BIOS. During start press F7 and start the update.
That's what I just did ... the system is still booting but behave differently
Please confirm that newest BIOS for DE3815TYKE is TY0044.BIO :
