I have a PC with DG41KR desktop board. I have tried to plug JM1333KLN-4G (240PIN DDR3 1333 Unbuffered DIMM 4GB With 256Mx8 CL9) transcend ram in one of the DIMM slot. But I am getting 3 short beeps and sysyem is not booting. Is this memory not compatiable?

These are considered high density RAMS & your MB supports only 4-GB.

For a list of tested & compatible RAMS PLS check the link:

http://www.cmtlabs.com/2012/mbSearchResults.asp?sManuf=Intel&sMem=DDR3&sMN=DG41KR&oSubmit=Search CMTL > Search > Tested Motherboard

Don't go beyond 2GB per DIMM

Anything else I'm more than happy to assist

Hi Vivekt008,

It seems that this ram memory is not compatible, please bear in mind that according to the specs of the motherboard you have, the memory types it supports are DDR3-1066/800, and this RAM memory is 1333 MHz.
