So, I had an issue with my GPU, and I was informed to update the BIOS.
Upon doing so, I can no longer enter the BIOS to do anything at all.
I was originally on 040, then I went to 099, then to 109.
Things that I have tried.
- Clear BIOS by removing battery for 10 minutes.
- Re flashing back to 109 via the system recovery.
- Managing the BIOS via the 2-3 Jumper configuration.
Here is a photo of what I see.
At this point, there is nothing I can do, no keys do anything, and I am forced to reboot the computer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The recovery method is the setting where the jumper is completely removed? If so, I have tried this a couple of times with no luck.
I've even tried downgrading to v104 and the same problem.
Ok, next, check if, despite the fact that nothing being displayed, you can press F9 and have it do a restore defaults operation.
So, not sure how, but the only thing I can think of was I reseated all connections to the motherboard, and suddenly my BIOS works again ..
I can't think of anything else that happened along the way.
Thank you for joining the Intel communities.
At this point I suggest clearing the CMOS, removing the battery from the motherboard and any other component connected to the motherboard for at least one hour and try the BIOS recovery again.
