DH61ZE Updated BIOS now freezes at the BIOS screen

Incrementally updated from BIOS 0034 to 0048, no issues.

then to 0099, which is the next BIOS available.

Now the system freezes at the BIOS splash page.

I can get into the BIOS.

I removed the power and battery for 3 days.

If I go into some parts of the BIOS the entire system freezes up, but not in other screens.

Is there another way to "reset" the BIOS.

as an update, I have attempted the BIOS jumper, then unplugged and bios jumper, then unplugged, BIOS battery removed, with jumper switched then after 10 minutes battery back in, boot to bios, set time et al then jumper back .

All with the same issue.

Thanks for coming back to the community.

I understand you had problems with your computer after updating BIOS.

At this stage, I recommend BIOS recovery. This will fix any BIOS corruption.
