Hi Experts
I bought a new DH77EB to run vmware esxi. I noticed that the BIOS is missing configuration to enable Intel® VT for Directed I/O.
I specifically bought this box to get support for Intel VT and VT-d support.

Upgraded my BIOS to EBH7710H.86A.0099.2013.0125.1400 however I still do not get the option to enable VT-d
Appreciate any guidance on how to fix this.
Cheers!

Hi Guys
I am using an Intel i5-3450 and apparently the processor does not support VT-d. This is probably the reason the BIOS does not expose VT-d in the config options. I guess I will have to change the processor.
Cheers!

Hi Deepak,
REquest an update on this. Were you able to get vt-d working with a different i5 processor?
Thanks
