Hi there,
my new DH77EB does not boot as soon my Seagate ST2000DM001 is connected, it stucks after the Intel logo/sound. Also Bios is not accessable
with the drive connected. Same problem with a Samsung HD154UI, an older Seagate with 250GB worked.
Both HDD are definitely okay! I swapped the cables, tested all SATA-Ports and upgraded Bios to the latest version but no success.
Any hints except swapping the board?

I could fix it by my own, I had to disable UEFI boot. I never before had to do this with Gigabyte boards, is it an Intel "special"?

UEFI support was available when Intel released the 5 series chipset model. I am glad your computer is working again.
Allan.
