DP67BG drive size limit for RAID?

This seems like an obvious question but I cannot find the answer online or in whitepapers. I want to build a hardware RAID-5 array with (4) 1.5TB WD15EARS SATA2 drives using the four black (3Gbps) ports on the mobo. I need to confirm this will work before purchase! What is the current size limit of the SATA2 drives for this chipset?

Does anyone have an answer, or can point me to a source for one? The RAID controller on this mobo is Intel PCH. I can't find any document that mentions drive sizes!

The latest RAID software for DP67BG is Intel Rapid Storage Technology (RST) 10.1.

Any disk greater or equal to 2TB (2,199,023,255,552 bytes) will not be supported in RAID mode.

It will also not allow booting to Volumes that are >=2TB.

Thanks. Is there an Intel document that discusses this?

Surprisingly, I can't find a document to describe this on the Intel website.

I was able to find a few tech articles describing this size limitation:

Yeah, I couldn't find anything either. Even the article you linked just has brief anecdotal info. You'd think there would be a press release or tech bulletin from Intel. I wanted to read about large drive support in RAID and array limitations.

Sheesh, they really know how to hide important info!
