The DQ67OW supports all the Sandbridge CPU's apart from the 2500T as it is not listed?
I know this board is no longer supported but couldn't a intel engineer do one last Bios update or patch to add the 2500T microcode as there are still 1000's of these boards about and in use.
Thanks
There is no one doing bios updates for this board.

So are you saying Intel is lying in regards to this board?
No, I am saying that there will no new updates to this board, or any desktop board. The spectre update is a special case.
If you think you are being clever, you are not. New or additional processor support, and other corrections to the bios WILL NOT BE MADE (unless an additional serious flaw is discovered and Intel deems it necessary to correct via a bios update).
Clear enough?

Al is correct; these boards are end-of-life'd. There are no resources to deliver any improvements, fixes or feature additions. Only vulnerability mitigation and other firmware security issues will be applied. As a matter of fact, it is still unclear whether these items will be delivered via full BIOS updates or via a tool that installs just the microcode updates.
