DQ67SW will not power on

I have a DQ67SW and i7-2600 with no cards installed and 8GB of memory. When I turn on the power switch on the supply he standby-power LED

turns green but if I press the power switch it will not turn on (no activity or front-panel LED).

This happened a week ago, I left it unplugged and when I came back after a week hit the power switch and the system came up and booted into linux as usual.

I halted the system, turned off the power supply switch and now its back to the same problem described at the beginning.

Is this a power supply problem or a problem with the PS_ON# circuit on the motherboard?

Power supply is a 300w ATX v2.0

Hi,

Here are our recommendations for this issue:

-Test the system out of the chassis on a minimal configuration, minimum memory installed and check if the issue persists.

-Test with a different power supply with at least 400-500 watts.
