DX79SR negative ambient temps in BIOS and still can't use Desktop Utilities

I haven't been able to use Desktop Utilities for almost a year now. Just an empty loading spinner that never ends. I have updated the BIOS firmware as well as tried updated versions of Desktop Utilities. Nothing has worked. Also, the ambient temperature reads around -54 degrees. Not sure if they are related or not. My computer works fine, but these are some issues I thought I'd bring up as it's been a while that I've had this problem unresolved and not sure if negative temps could have a negative impact or not.

Thanks for joining the Desktop board community.

I understand Desktop Utilities displays negative values on ambient temperature.

Please verify you have installed the latest version of Desktop Utilities.

On the following link, please choose the Operating System you are using and check if it is the correct version.

You may need to manually uninstall the older version, reboot the computer, and then install the latest software.
