DZ77BH-55K 3 beeps after bios update, how to get around, recover

Jump to solution

Can't get around this. Was having issues with sound in windows 8. Thought it might be worth while to update the bios and drivers etc. After bios update flash to latest available on intel website, I got the beeps on restart. 3 beeps. Have tried everything, every ram combo. Taken out battery and power, tried again.

Is there any way to get around beeps and run bios recovery w/ US

? All computer does on startup is beep. No video nothing.

Hi Sean,

Here are our recommendations:

- Test the system on a minimal configuration out of the chassis. Remove all memory looking for beep codes and start adding each memory module individually.

- Clear the CMOS battery for 30 minutes.

- Try a BIOS recovery test with minimum memory installed:

- If the issue persists, check your warranty options to replace the board.

I had the same problem, tried change memory and processor, till power supply.

The post code change to 15 when used a i5 processor, no beep but no video too.

I made video to see the sequence from post code and leds.
