I just received my brand new DZ77GA-70K and I7. Install went fine but when I installed four 4GB sticks of Corsair Vengeance CMZ8GX3M2A16000C9B the unit would not POST. 3 Beeps, memory error. So I removed 2 sticks from DIMMS 2/4 and the unit booted. So I started testing.
All four RAM sticks work in DIMMS 1/3 (A).
If I use any RAM in DIMMS 2/4 (B) the unit will not POST (three beeps).
I am pretty certain that DIMMS 2/4 (B) are bad but I just wanted to see if there was something I am missing since I have to wait till Monday to contact support anyways! Thanks in advance!
Hello James, I heard of lots of problems with these memory sticks, I recommend you to test with different memory and to test the motherboard out of the chassis to confirm that it is not compatibility issue or a grounding.
