Do Intel hopes to stop Mother Board Manufacture?

Hello,

Intel(R) has plans in moving to another segment of the market, and has announced that will release the 8 series motherboards and then continue to work with the different motherboard manufacturers to release products compatible with the latest processors.

Let's hope that these "plans" will change a bit and that there will be at least a couple of Boards made by Intel for the ones who prefer it's own branded desktop boards.
